About Cade
With a smile that could light up a room, piercing blue unmistakable eyes, and a Sesser-Valier Red Devil at heart, Cade Shadowens was known for his humorous banter and captivating personality. His heart for others was evident in every aspect of his life and friendships, showing the loyalty and steadfast love that Cade had for those he deeply cared for. Among his many great qualities, Cade had a unique ability to relate to others and make people feel seen and valued. His quiet moments were filled with reflection and deep listening, and his words carried encouragement and understanding.
Saved by Jesus Christ at a young age, Cade knew his eternal home was in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. He used his faith and testimony to shine a light on recovery and redemption, inspiring others to believe that healing was possible. Having faced his own battle with addiction, Cade turned his pain into purpose—spending the last year of his life working in the recovery community and helping others find freedom from addiction.
Cade was passionate about raising awareness of addiction and offering hope to those who were struggling. He believed deeply in the power of compassion, faith, and second chances, and his life reflected that belief every single day.
Cade spent his final years paving a way for a brighter future—not only for himself, but for countless others who found strength through his story. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the hope he inspired, and the light he brought into the world.
